Bute Park
The park is situated along the Cardiff Castle so it’s quite a lovely stroll through seeing the park on one side and the Castle on the other. Why not visit the park – maybe bring a picnic basket and enjoy a lovely lunch?
Cardiff Castle
After the park why not check out Cardiff Castle. You can stroll along the castle wall, dubbed “animal wall”, due to the variety of animal statues on the wall. There is a fee to enter the Castle and tour the inside – or if you’re tight on a budget just enjoy from the outside.

No stop to Cardiff is complete without visiting the bustling arcades throughout the city. Cardiff is well known as the “City of Arcades” as it has so many to stroll through. My favorite is without a doubt the Royal Arcade.
